Dairy Scheme Maharashtra

The goal of developing this system is to manage the farmers’ milk data and approve the subsidy Rs. 5 per liter to unions if they have paid equal to or higher than the base price as per the quality standard required by Dairy Development Department.

• Each Union has 2 types of users Maker and Checker.
• First of all Union’s Maker user will submit the data of milk collection from each farmer and their payment details along with bank account details of farmers as per Format I.
• After that the same Maker user will provide the breakup of milk quota in different categories as per Format II and submit.
• Now the Checker of each Union will check the data submitted by Maker and submit that for approval. Only after that the District office will see the milk data of that Union.
• The District office will verify or reject the data submitted by Unions.
• The Regional office will approve or disapprove the data verified by District offices and will generate a payment file every 10 days for granting the subsidy of Rs. 5 per litre to Unions as per Format II.
• The Central monitoring office will be able to view the entire system and it’s data at any level.
